America’sSwimming Pool Company (ASP), the nation’s first pool franchise, is proud to announce it has reached the 100 unit mark, capping off a year of unprecedented growth and expansion across the country.
“2012 has proven to be one of our most successful years since we have been in business, and crossing the 100 unit mark is an important milestone for us,” said Stewart Vernon, founder and CEO of ASP. “None of this would have been possible without the help of our amazing franchisees who make the company what it is today.”
Since the Macon-based company began franchising in 2005, it has experienced drastic growth in a small amount of time, now with 110 territories in more than 200 cities in 12 states. In 2012 alone, ASP signed and opened 27 new franchise territories in five new states, all while enjoying a 62 percent increase in year-to-date sales. With an easy-to-follow system and business plan that has been proven by new and existing pool companies, ASP has quickly grown to become the go-to pool service company in every territory it serves.
“We have been able to expand and attract new franchisees because we are constantly working to improve internal systems,” continued Vernon. “Additionally, we are working with our national vendors to secure the best pricing scale for our franchisees, which in turn gives our customers the best pricing. All of this adds up to more and more people recognizing the ASP name and using our services and the growth of our business.”
ASP was founded to bring a higher level of professionalism, service and reliability to the highly-fragmented pool service industry. After establishing a location that exceeded a million dollars in sales, Vernon believed he had a concept that could be not only replicated, but also highly successful in any location. In 2011, annual revenues were up 55 percent from 2010 to $13.5 million. By the end of 2012, the brand is expected to top $15 million in system-wide sales.
Despite the extraordinary growth, ASP continues to support its franchisees with some of the best support in the industry. The company continues to add new members to its corporate team in order to provide 24-hour support across the system, help its franchisees develop sales goals, improve marketing and making sure all customer issues are handled quickly and professionally.
