Vernon, as the company CEO, is responsible for the day to day operations of the franchise company, which include Public Relations, brand management, vendor relationships, financial planning and strategic oversight of his staff.

Stewart Vernon is the Founder and CEO of ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company, the nation’s largest swimming pool cleaning, repair, and renovation franchise system.

Founded in Macon Georgia in 2002, the business was born out of the need to provide a higher quality swimming pool company to customers in Vernon’s hometown. Upon launching the business and experiencing rapid growth at the flagship location in Macon, Ga., Vernon looked for a way to expand both the business model and the ASP brand.

In 2005 ASP Franchising, Inc. was formed, and the company had its first two franchise owners in place. Vernon and his company quickly began to fill a void in the swimming pool service sector. The model for franchise expansion was built by partnering with business minded individuals who wanted to start their own venture, needing a business road map to follow. As the franchise model expanded its training, its support, and its brand, the reach of the company expanded…and the Southeast was no longer its boundary. Currently, ASP has 98 franchisees who own and operate more than 245 franchise territories in 23 states.

ASP has become a leader in the swimming pool arena, while also rising in the ranks of the national franchise spotlight.  ASP’s success has been recognized by its inclusion in the rankings of Entrepreneur Magazine’s prestigious Top 500 Franchise List. Most recently, recognized again with the Entrepreneur 500 list ranking number 113 for 2017.

In addition to the leadership role, Mr. Vernon plays as CEO of ASP Franchising, LLC he has also spoken at various business venues during his career, emphasizing the power of entrepreneurship.  Specifically featured: Wesleyan College, College of Charleston, Georgia Tech Business School, Mercer University – as well as delivering the keynote at the annual ASP Owners Meeting for the previous 10 years.

President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Swift, as the company’s President and COO, is responsible for the development of franchise sales, the oversight of the operations department, technical department, and marketing department for ASP Franchising, Inc., and the development of operational systems for both ASP Franchising, Inc. and the individual franchisees.

Prior to joining ASP Franchising, Inc., Mr. Swift was a corporate tax attorney for James Bates, LLLP, a law firm specializing in corporate tax and estate tax planning. In 2006, while practicing law, Mr. Swift purchased an ASP franchise in the Houston County, Georgia market. Mr. Swift successfully ran and operated this franchise until 2009 when he sold the franchise to take the position of President and COO of ASP Franchising, Inc.

In addition to his work at ASP Franchising, Inc., Mr. Swift is active with several local charities. Mr. Swift serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Wesley Glen Ministries, a home for adults with mental disabilities. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Macon Civic Club.

Mr. Swift earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Presbyterian College, his Juris Doctorate Law Degree from Mercer University, and a master’s degree in tax law from the University of Florida. Additionally, Mr. Swift is licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia, is a member of the Macon and Georgia Bar Associations and holds a certified financial planner’s license.

Mr. Swift is married to Courtney F. Swift, and they have two children, Phillips and Mary Marshall.

Jimmie H. Meece

Jimmie H. Meece

Vice President of Franchise Operations

Mr. Meece, as the company’s VP of Franchise Operations, is responsible for the initial Pool School training for each new franchisee, the day to day support for the franchisees which includes QuickBooks support, business planning, budgeting and overall general operations, and assisting the COO with implementation of company policies, procedures and new programs.

Prior to joining ASP Franchising, Inc., Mr. Meece owned and operated one of the very first ASP franchises. In 2005, while working with a local municipality in event planning and recreational programming, Mr. Meece decided to purchase the Pickens County, SC territory and venture into the swimming business with ASP. Mr. Meece successfully ran and operated this franchise until 2011 when he sold the franchise to take the position of VP of Franchise Operations for ASP Franchising, Inc.

In addition to his work at ASP Franchising, Inc., Mr. Meece serves on the board for the City of Macon’s Young Professionals Network. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, watching college football and playing golf. Mr. Meece serves in the AWANA ministry at Ingleside Baptist Church.

Mr. Meece earned a B.S. degree in Community Leisure Services from Clemson University. While attending graduate school at Clemson, Mr. Meece was introduced to swimming management. As a graduate assistant, he was in charge of maintaining the Olympic lap and diving pools for the university at which time he received his certified pool/spa operator’s license (CPO).

Mr. Meece is married to Meghan E. Meece, and they have three children, Jacob, Katelyn, and Taylor.

M. Kevin Noggle

M. Kevin Noggle

Vice President of Technical Operations

Mr. Noggle, as the company’s VP of Technical Operations, is responsible for assisting with the initial Pool School training for each new franchisee, the day to day support for the franchisees which includes technical support, ongoing equipment and materials training, vendor relationships, and assisting franchisees to locate products or contractors necessary to expand their offerings.

Prior to 2012, Mr. Noggle spent the last 20 years working in several areas of the swimming pool industry, most recently in wholesale distribution. Mr. Noggle worked for Poolcorp, the world’s largest wholesale distributor of swimming pool supplies, equipment, and related leisure products.

In addition to his work at ASP Franchising, Inc., Mr. Noggle enjoys spending time with friends and family, boating, and playing golf.

Mr. Noggle earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. While attending school at USC, Mr. Noggle began working for a local swimming pool company which led to his career path.

Mr. Noggle is married to Julie D. Noggle.

Jef E. Flournoy

Jef E. Flournoy

Vice President of Franchise Sales & Development

Mr. Flournoy has held this position since July 2015. Mr. Flournoy, as the company’s VP of Sales and Development, is responsible for the sales process of a potential new franchisee. In addition, Mr. Flournoy assists the COO with the implementation of company policies, procedures, and new programs.

Prior to joining ASP Franchising, LLC., Mr. Flournoy owned and operated one of the very first ASP franchises, in Augusta Georgia.  Prior to owning and operating ASP of Augusta, he taught school and coached soccer at Monroe Academy.  While at the school he received the Monroe County teacher of the year twice for middle school and received GISA coach of the year twice.

In 2007, while working with a local bank in private lending, Mr. Flournoy decided to purchase the Augusta, GA territory and venture into the swimming business with ASP. Mr. Flournoy successfully ran and operated this franchise until 2015 when he sold the franchise to take the position of VP of Sales and Development for ASP Franchising, LLC.

In addition to his work at ASP Franchising, Inc., Mr. Flournoy enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, watching college football and traveling.  He is a native of Macon having graduated from Stratford Academy in 1993.

Mr. Flournoy earned a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Georgia.  Mr. Flournoy is married to Dr. Megan P. Flournoy, and they have three children, Wes, Brady, and Powers.

 Matt R. Gresham

Matt R. Gresham

Director of Technical Support

Prior to joining ASP Franchising, Mr. Gresham has spent the past 17 years working in the pool industry. He began working for Southland Pools when he was in high school. In 2010, Southland Pools converted to America’s Swimming Pool Company where Mr. Gresham was Service Manager before coming on board to ASP Franchising.

Mr. Gresham graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He is Married to Kacey Gresham, and they have two children: Parker and Alaina.

Meghan E. Meece

Meghan E. Meece

Director of Web & Communications

She oversees all aspects of the website and communications program for both the Franchisees and Franchisor, including Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, Public Relations, Website Development and Customization and IT support. Prior to joining ASP Franchising, Mrs. Meece worked in the government sector implementing federal programs for a local school district in the upstate of South Carolina.

Additionally, Mrs. Meece partnered with her husband in 2005 to run one of the first ASP Franchises in Clemson, South Carolina.

In addition to her position with ASP Franchising, Inc. Mrs. Meece enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and scrapbooking. She is a member of the choir at Ingleside Baptist Church, where she also serves on one of the vocal teams.

Mrs. Meece is a graduate of Clemson University. She is married to Jimmie H. Meece, and they have three children: Jacob, Katelyn, and Taylor.

Tami R. Taylor

Tami R. Taylor

Director of Data Management

Mrs. Taylor’s role includes data management and facilitation of the pre-qualification stage for all franchise prospects, data management for existing franchise territories as well as prospective franchise territories, assisting Tom Swift with the Pre-Qualification Webinar, Franchise Disclosure Documents and State Registration filings along with the overall franchise development system.

Prior to joining ASP Franchising, LLC., Mrs. Taylor worked as a licensed insurance agent at Northwestern Mutual for 14 years.

In addition to her position with ASP, Mrs. Taylor enjoys spending time with family & friends, watching college football and fishing/boating at the family lake house.

Mrs. Taylor attended Macon State College.  She is married to Brent Taylor, and they are active members of Southside Baptist Church, along with their three children.

Shelly A. Smith

Office Support Supervisor & Executive Assistant

Shelly Smith (shellysmith@asppoolco.com) is our Office Support Supervisor and Executive Assistant for the corporate headquarters of ASP America’s Swimming Pool Company, a position she has held since August 2009. Mrs. Smith is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, data management, and managing client relations.

Prior to 2009, Mrs. Smith worked as a Financial Services Specialist for Regions Financial Corporation. Mrs. Smith is a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College in upstate New York.

She is married to Scott Smith, and they have one daughter, Emmalyne.

Casey P. Sloan

Casey P. Sloan

Franchise Development & Flight Operations

Within his role, Mr. Sloan is responsible for piloting, executing brand adherence, documentation and financial assistance. Prior to joining ASP Franchising, Mr. Sloan flew corporate jets out of Atlanta and also flew for a law firm. Sloan also has experience in the pool industry. He holds a CPO license and has worked on the service side of the pool industry for many years.

In addition to his position at ASP Franchising, Sloan is also a flight instructor who enjoys teaching the techniques of flying to his students.

Mr. Sloan graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Finance.

Rachael E. Hammet

Rachael E. Hammet

Web & Communications Associate

Ms. Hammet is responsible for assisting Meghan Meece in Website Creation, Search Engine Optimization, Digital Media, Social Media updates, and Public Relations for all franchise locations. Previously, Ms. Hammet held the position of Office Manager prior to the addition of Mrs. Smith in 2009.
Ms. Hammet graduated from Middle Georgia State College with a Bachelor’s of Science in New Media and Communications.

Public Relations & Communications Associate

Within her role, Mrs. Fritz is responsible for assisting Meghan Meece in public relations, social media management, email marketing, websites and search engine optimization for all franchise locations. Prior to joining ASP Franchising, Mrs. Fritz helped creative entrepreneurs, as the Programs Director for Macon Arts Alliance, a non-profit arts organization in historic downtown Macon.

Mrs. Fritz graduated from Middle Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in New Media and Communications. She is married to Michael Fritz, and they have two children: Cole and Baylor.

Fabunde N. Mamey

Fabunde N. Mamey

Web Developer & IT Support

Mr. Mamey is responsible for developing ASP websites and assisting with Search Engine Optimization for all sites. He also provides technical support for the Online Store, Online Training Center, and the database management system for franchise information. He joined the ASP Franchising team in September 2016 as a Communications and Web Development Intern and successfully helped develop and launch an e-commerce website for the company.

In December 2016 he was named “Entrepreneur of the Class” in his Seminar of Entrepreneurship course, taught by our CEO, Stewart C. Vernon.

Originally from Liberia, Mr. Fabunde Mamey came to Macon, Georgia, on a college scholarship to Mercer University. He graduated with a degree in Information Technology and minor in Business Administration. Mr. Mamey previously worked as an IT Help Desk Assistant at Mercer University. He also independently develops and designs websites for clients.

In addition to his position at ASP Franchising, Mr. Mamey enjoys computer programming and playing soccer. He is married to Mrs. Zoe Mamey.

Megan A. Milton

Administrative Assistant & Special Event Coordinator

Megan is responsible for providing office support, special event coordination, online store order processing and shipping. Megan graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining ASP, she served as the Director of Programs and Events/Office Manager for Pilot International Inc. Megan enjoys baking/ decorating cakes and cookies, going to see live music and being outdoors. She has 3 siblings- two sisters and a brother.
