A new location of ASP
ASP - America's Swimming Pool Company has recently opened in Shreveport, Louisiana, owned and operated by John Bodden. ASP of Shreveport serves residential and commercial swimming pool owners in Caddo and Bossier Parishes, providing swimming pool maintenance programs, pool equipment diagnostics, equipment repairs, pool chemicals, supplies, and pool renovations including vinyl liner replacement.
“Being a pool owner myself, I knew what services were available in Shreveport,” stated Bodden. “I wanted to be the one-stop-shop for the do-it-yourselfers as well as provide my backyard expertise for service work, maintenance, repairs and renovations.”
Before opening ASP of Shreveport, Bodden owned a Sport Clips franchise. Most recently, Bodden managed a heavy truck dealership as well as it’s leasing and maintenance division for 9 years before deciding to enter into the swimming pool business. In his experience of owning a franchise, Bodden knows bringing an ASP franchise to the Shreveport/Bossier City area allows him to provide top-notch, professional swimming pool services to his customers.
Bodden lived in Baton Rouge for 22 years and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1992, with a degree in Advertising and Marketing. While in college, he started his own pool company to earn money for tuition. After graduating, Bodden served eight years in the Louisiana Army National Guard as a Specialist in the Engineer Corps (Spc.-E4) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Bodden and his family have lived in Shreveport for almost 10 years. Bodden enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching youth football, and expanding his collection of autographed football helmets. When asked which helmet was his favorite, Bodden undeniably favors his LSU Tiger Riddell helmet autographed by Coach Les Miles, Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn of the 2007 BCS Championship season.
