Looking Back at 2018

2019 is almost here, and we hope that your new year’s resolutions involve making more memories with friends and family by your swimming oasis.

Before we dive into the new year – let’s look back on some of the best ASP moments of 2018.

1. People, Process, and Profit

In January 2018, all ASP franchise owners, key employees, and corporate staff came together to celebrate our company, recognize our achievements, and look ahead to the coming year. This two-day event focused on exploring these three critical aspects of business – People, Process, and Profit.

During this annual event, we acknowledge and award franchise locations for their significant achievements. We were proud to recognize ASP of Chattanooga for winning Franchise of the Year and for awarding one of their team members with Employee of the Year. ASP of Dallas was awarded Top Sales Leader for the 5th consecutive year. ASP of Panama City was awarded as Best New Franchise Start, and 31 other franchise locations received awards for exceeding their sales goal.

2. Mission Statement and Core Values

We updated and launched our new mission statement and core values.

Mission Statement: At ASP, we create superior value for our customers in all that we do by leveraging technology, superior knowledge, higher standards, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

3. #1 in Pool Maintenance by Entrepreneur Magazine

ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company was recognized by the world’s first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking in Entrepreneur Magazine. The Franchise 500 ranks ASP as #1 in swimming pool maintenance and #101 in the overall franchise rankings.

4. Free Clean Winner Announcement

Ms. Manos was thrilled when she received a giant check for one year of free pool cleaning from ASP Atlanta.

5. 100^th Franchise Owner

In April, we celebrated a significant milestone by awarding franchise rights to the 100th franchise owner and 257th franchise territory. This was a huge achievement for ASP.

6. Healthy and Safe Swimming

During National Water Safety Month and year-round we emphasize the importance of healthy and safe swimming. This May we helped spread the word on water safety actions you can take to prevent water-related injuries and help save lives.

7. Holiday Contests and Giveaway

The ASP holiday contests and giveaways became a hit in 2017, so we continued running the contests in 2018. We get to dress up in crazy costumes and hang out with llamas while you have a chance at winning $200. What’s better than that? Thank you to everyone who has participated in these Facebook contests and liked our Facebook page! Over the past two years, the corporate ASP Facebook page and all our franchise locations have received a combined total of 19k page followers, who have engaged with our posts 36k times. 8. Post-Hurricane Donations

ASP of Panama City raised over $5,000 to help aid their employees who lost everything in the destruction of Hurricane Michael. We thank all the ASP franchise locations and people across the U.S. who helped support this cause.

10. Authority Brands Partnership

One of the biggest announcements of 2018 was our partnership with Authority Brands. In October, Authority Brands acquired America’s Swimming Pool Company. Authority Brands is a leading home services franchising platform and is also the parent company to The Cleaning Authority, Homewatch CareGivers, and Mosquito Squad.
